MARICOPA- Two people were arrested by deputies after they discovered meth and marijuana for sale inside a residence in the small rural town of Maricopa on Friday morning.
Arrested were 40-year-old Joey Kiwook Song and 25-year-old Nancy Adriane Cross who lived at the residence.
Both suspects were booked at the Kern County Sheriff’s Central Receiving Facility in Bakersfield, and are facing charges of possessing methamphetamine for sale, possessing marijuana for sale and possessing drug paraphernalia.
According to officials, the drugs were found by deputies during the execution of a search warrant at a home located in the 400 block of California Street.
During the search deputies said they located approximately one and a half ounces of suspected methamphetamine, 60 marijuana plants and drug various drug related paraphernalia.
