The Paso Robles police responded to two shootings over the weekend.
According to PRPD, the first incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. on the 1200 block of Corral Creek Avenue.
Police say they received numerous phone calls from residents who reported hearing gunshots.
The second shooting happened on Sunday at approximately 2:45 a.m. at the same location.
Police say there were no injuries reported and there no suspects identified.
Investigators found evidence that a small caliber firearm was shot toward an apartment that may have been occupied at the time.
Officers have been unable to locate a victim or a suspect associated with the shooting.
Police say several neighbors reported hearing four to five gunshots around 11:30 p.m. and saw a shadowy figure running from the area directly afterwards.
Neighbors also reported seeing several people run from an apartment they believe may have been the intended target.
On Sunday morning, officers returned to the apartment complex after neighbors again called and reported hearing gun fire. Officers recovered evidence that a small caliber firearm had been fired in the area.
Again, officers were unable to locate a victim or a suspect(s). Investigators are treating the incident as gang-related.
