A 45-year-old Buena Park man is behind bars this week, accused of giving methamphetamine to a 15-year-old reported runaway who died of an overdose.
Jeffrey Peurrung was arrested on suspicion of lewd acts upon a child and inducing a minor to buy or sell a controlled substance.
Peurrung and a friend were at the victim’s home in the 7500 block of Fillmore Avenue with a friend of hers who was also a minor.
Investigators are saying he was sexually involved with at least one of the girls.
Police spoke with both men who were at the home, but Peurrung was the only one arrested.
