Atascadero police are asking the public’s help in locating a suspect who robbed the 7-Eleven store Sunday morning.
According to APD, a white male entered the store, located at 8000 El Camino Real, around 6:15 Sunday morning and demanded money from the store’s cash registers. Employees say the suspect pointed a black handgun at them.
The suspect is described as a white male adult, 5’10” to 5’11” around 200 to 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-grey hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Witnesses say the suspect spoke with an English accent. There was no information at time of press regarding the suspect’s hair or eye color.
The suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police say no one was injured.
It is unknown if the suspect had a vehicle outside the store or if he was working alone.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Atascadero Police department at 461-5051.
