Randol said, “Upon arrival, patrol officers located the victim, later identified as 39 year old Martha Casillas of San Jose.”

Patrolling officers were able to quickly gather information that later identified a possible male suspect who had fled the scene minutes before officers arrived. Information provided by witnesses at the home, located at 668 Dakota Drive, identified a known male suspect who had been at the home prior to the stabbing.
