Officers with the Redding Police Department served a search warrant at 3563 Dune Street in Redding. The warrant was related to the report of narcotics activity and the sales of heroin.
Over the last several weeks, RPD had been working with residents in nearby neighborhoods who had reported the suspicious activity. Surveillance of the residence was conducted and officers were able to obtain a search warrant for the house through the gathered evidence.
Officers conducted a search of the house and discovered evidence that supported drug use and drug sales.
Police were able to arrest 20 year-old Andrew Aristo and 19 year-old Desiree Moncrief, both from Redding. Both were booked into the Shasta County Jail for maintaining a location for narcotics sales and use, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, possession of an unlawful weapon and possession of a stun gun.
