A suspect was arrested during an attempted bank robbery in Wrigley Tuesday, police say.
At approximately 12:35 p.m., a man entered the Bank of America located in the 600 block of W. Willow Street and presented a demand note one teller and second note to a another teller indicating that he had bomb. Alert bank employees were able to quickly notify Long Beach Police, who arrived on the scene and arrested the suspect as he exited the bank, according to the press release.
