A Paso Robles High School teacher was arrested for allegedly having unlawful sex with a student.
According to PRPD, they began investigating reports around June 1 regarding a male high school teacher at the Paso Robles High School. The report alleged he had a sexual relationship with a student.
Police say during the investigation a 16-year-old female student said she has had an ongoing sexual relationship with her adult male teacher.
Police arrested Jeremy Ryan Monn, 30, of Paso Robles for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. It was a felony count.
It is unknown if any other victims are involved or how long the relationship was going on.
The name of the student is withheld due to her age and her status as a minor.
Police did not disclose any other facts relevant to the crime in order to protect the victim.
