A Wisconsin man was arrested Sunday following a stabbing in an apparent alcohol related knife fight in Santa Rosa.
David Prochaska, 26, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
Police responded to an early Sunday morning call about a man chasing another man with a knife in downtown Santa Rosa.
Responding authorities found the victim, a San Francisco resident, with lacerations to his face and throat. He and the suspect were both treated at a local medical center for non-life threatening injuries.
A third person involved in the fight fled the scene, according to local media reports.
As of Monday it wasn’t clear what started the fight, or what the relationship was between the three men.
However, authorities did reveal that the victim and suspect had been drinking together.
