Members of the Paso Robles Police Department Special Enforcement Team (SET) seized $2770 in cash, $1000 worth of black tar heroin, and arrested seven people.
According to PRPD, the investigation that began about one month ago culminated with the serving of an early-morning search warrant at a residence along the 100 block of Pioneer Trail Drive.
Detectives seized 15 grams of heroin and some drug paraphernalia.
The seven people who were arrested are: Aaron Charlton, 29, for felony possession of heroin for sale and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia; David Whittaker, 20, for felony possession of heroin, felony child endangerment and several warrants; Chad McCullough, 28, for felony possession of heroin for sale, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and several warrants; Kateen Setting, 18, for felony child endangerment, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia; Justine Grogan, 26, for a misdemeanor of being under the Influence of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia; Christopher Bellamy, 31, for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and Amanda Hutton, 21, for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. All were from Paso Robles.
A one-year-old child was present at the residence and was turned over to SLO County Child Welfare Services.
