Paso Robles police officers arrested five suspects in a drug bust on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Paso Robles Police Department, officers from the department’s newly-formed Special Enforcement Team saw several suspicious subjects around a parked vehicle in the parking lot of the City Library.
Officers say they observed a “hand-to-hand” transaction of possible narcotics take place.
Police made contact with the five suspects and subsequently arrested them on various drug-related charges.
The arrested were Rachel Porter, 22, of Paso Robles for felony possession of heroin and an out of county warrant; Edward Dowless, 23, of Arroyo Grande for felony possession of heroin; George Machado, 23, of Paso Robles for felony of transportation/providing heroin; Joshua Dollins, 35 of Paso Robles for misdemeanor charge for being under the influence of a controlled substance and illegal possession of narcotic paraphernalia; and Alexander Cisneros, 22, of Templeton for misdemeanor, illegal possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
