Sixteen people have been arrested, including a juvenile at Poway High School, in connection with a year-long undercover drug operation by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department in the Poway Unified School District.
The department announced Tuesday morning that three deputies posed as high school students in local schools, include Poway and Abraxas high schools, “in response to a number of overdose drug deaths and drug-related issues.”
