SHAFTER — Three suspects who were allegedly selling meth in the Shafter area, were arrested on Wednesday.

Joseph Gudino, 21, of Bakersfield, along with Shafter residents, 28-year-old George Ramirez and 31-year-old Cindy Olivo were all booked into the Kern County Jail on various drug related charges.

According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, the arrests were the result of an investigation conducted by the California Multijurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team with the assistance the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force and Shafter Police Department, into the sales of methamphetamine in the area.

A search warrant was served in the morning of Oct. 8, 2014, at a home in the 500 block of Acacia Avenue, in the City of Shafter. Officers said they found approximately a quarter of a pound of suspected methamphetamine, paraphernalia, a firearm and items indicative of the sales of meth, during their search of the residence.
