CLOVIS – A man who works for ABC was arrested at his workplace for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography.

Jeff Jordan

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 56-year-old Jeff Jordan on Thursday. Sheriff’s deputies, agents from the Department of Homeland Security and officers with the Clovis Police Department served a search warrant at Jordan’s Clovis home. They took computers and other media storage devices from his home as evidence.

Jordan was arrested at his workplace on March 7, the sheriff’s office said. He was booked into the Fresno County Jail but was released on bail at 1:30 a.m. on March 8.

Jordan is the director of safety and broadcast compliance for ABC-owned television stations and chief engineer for ABC’s Living Well Network on Channel 30.2. He works with eight TV stations owned by ABC, but works out of the KFSN (ABC30) offices in downtown Fresno. He is not currently involved in KFSN programming.

The investigation was conducted as part of the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which is comprised of 58 law-enforcement agencies spread across Kern, Tulare, Kings Fresno, Madera, Merced, Mariposa, Inyo and San Luis Obispo counties.
