The fourth suspect in the March 2013 murder of a train rider in Roseville has been arrested, according to an official statement by Roseville Police Department.

Charity Ann Williams, 28, was reportedly arrested on Sunday, June 29, 2014, by deputies of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, located in Washington state. She was reportedly arrested on a Placer County warrant charging her with homicide in connection to the murder of John Paul Alpert, a college student from Palmdale, CA. Williams is reportedly being held without bail in the Pierce County Jail in Tacoma, WA, pending her return to Placer County to face charges.

On Friday, June 27, 2014, Roseville PD had announced they had obtained a no bail warranty for Williams’ arrest, and had asked the public for their help in her apprehension. She was reportedly the fourth suspect in connection to the March 2013 murder of Alpert, who investigators believe had been beaten to death while freight train hopping from Palmdale to Roseville. The other three suspects — Laura Kenner, Edward Anauo, and Jules Carrillo — had reportedly already been arrested and charged with Alpert’s murder in March 2014. Roseville PD had reportedly continued the investigation, receiving probable cause to arrest Williams.
