San Carlos - Charles Patrick Bell may have lucked out when the clerk at the gas station he robbed didn’t press charges. But he wasn’t so lucky with the law.
Bell entered Holly Gas & Diesel Station in San Carlos at 12:40 am on Monday, December 17, 2012. He asked the clerk for a pack of cigarettes, and while the clerk had his back turned, Bell took a few coins from the register.
According to Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt, upon arrest, police found methamphetamine and glass smoking pipe. Police also discovered he had been released from the Maguire Correctional Facility on bail only three hours earlier following an arrest on the previous day for possession of methamphetamine .
Bell is currently back at Maguire facing three charges: possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and committing a felony while on bail.
