LONG BEACH – It is known as a “routine traffic stop.” Law enforcement conduct numerous such stops and subsequently send the driver off uneventfully. However, every once in a while what begins as a routine traffic stop ends in an arrest, or more.
Such was the case recently on the 6900 block of Atlantic Avenue when police stopped a driver for a traffic violation. The “nervous” driver did not have a drivers license. The vehicle held packaging material that led authorities to investigate the suspect’s home.
