Detectives with the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit arrested a man last week for the manufacturing of hash oil.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, detectives served a search warrant at the residence located at 1749 Farrier Court in San Luis Obispo.

Investigators found a lab that converts marijuana into hash oil or honey oil.
According to the press release the process is extremely dangerous and can result in explosions.

Detectives found about 30 pounds of marijuana that was ready to be shipped. They also found 80 pounds of marijuana set aside for use in the honey oil extraction process.
An excess of $15,000 in cash and several assault-style weapons were also discovered.
Detectives arrested Michael Allan Siegfried, 28. He was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, the sale of a controlled substance and assault on a peace officer.
Detectives believe Siegfried is part of an illegal operation that ships marijuana outside of California.
