Sherman Heights-
A man and a woman were arrested early Monday for allegedly robbing an ice cream shop in the Sherman Heights area of San Diego.
Investigators say Cecil Elwood, 36, walked into Korky’s Ice Cream and Coffee Store Sunday night and pointed a handgun at the clerk, demanding cash.
He fled in a get-a-way car driven by the female suspect, who has not yet been named.
Authorities later found the car outside a home on K Street. Elwood and the woman resisted arrest, refusing to exit the building until about 2:40 a.m. Monday.
Elwood was booked on suspicion of robbery and held on $50,000 bail.
